How to service a OneUp V2 Dropper Post (in real time)

Has your OneUp V2 post become sticky or does it feel gritty when it goes up and down? If so then it’s probably time for a strip, clean and re-grease.

These posts are super easy to service at home you just need a few tools and some grease and you’re good to go.

You will need:

  • Suspension grease (like Slick Honey of Sram Butter)

  • Paper towel

  • Brake Cleaner (not a necessity but helpful for cleaning)

  • 5mm allen key (to remove the saddle)

  • 2mm allen key (to remove the actuator lock bolts)

  • Adjustable spanner (to remove the actuator)

Hopefully the video and points are helpful, let me know if they were and if you’ve got any tips of your own by dropping me an email on: rpbiketech@gmail.com

Watch out for more Tech Tuesday post’s coming soon!
